Sangamon County ROSC Resource Guide
The Sangamon County Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Council is dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey by fostering strong community connections. Our goal is to link people with the resources they need to address substance use challenges and build a foundation for lasting recovery.
Heartland HOUSED
Heartland HOUSED is dedicated to transforming the landscape of homelessness in Springfield and Sangamon County, IL. As the backbone organization of the Heartland Continuum of Care, they develop strategic initiatives, support collaborative implementation efforts, and foster partnerships aimed at functionally ending homelessness.

Birth to Five Illinois works in every community in the State to:

Continually assess the Early Childhood programs available in each Region.

SIU Medicine
SIU Medicine is dedicated to optimizing the health of the people in central and southern Illinois through education, patient care, research and community service. As a trusted partner in academic medicine, SIU Medicine works hand-in-hand with local hospitals and organizations to deliver compassionate, collaborative care—right where people live.
Across Illinois, a wide range of community resources support this mission, offering services that address both immediate health needs and the broader factors that impact well-being, such as transportation, housing and access to nutritious food. Feeding Springfield
Feeding Springfield One Lasagna At A Time exists to help ensure no one in our community goes to bed hungry. Through free meals, emergency food assistance, holiday events, school supply drives, clothing outreach, and community partnerships, our goal is simple: to love on our village and help families through difficult seasons with dignity, compassion, and kindness.
